1 qt. vinegar

1 cup pickling salt

sprigs of fresh dill

garlic cloves, 2 per jar

pickling cucumbers

Bring brine to a boil and pour over packed sterilized jars. For crispness, add 1/8 tsp. of alum to each jar before brine is poured over. Makes 6-8 jars.
