2 eggs

1½ cups granulated sugar

14oz. Fruit cocktail and juice

2¼ cups All-purpose flour

2 tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla

½ cup chopped walnuts

½ cup brown sugar, packed

Beat eggs and sugar together well. Add fruit and juice. Stir to combine. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Spread in greased 9x13 pan.

Sprinkle nuts and brown sugar over batter in pan. Bake in 350°F oven for 45 minutes or until set.

Glaze with following:

Glaze:

¾ cup brown sugar, packed

½ tsp. vanilla

½ cup butter or margarine

¼ cup milk

½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Bring all ingredients to a boil in a saucepan while stirring. Pour over warm bars. Cool. Cut into 54 squares.

This is a very moist bar and it stays that way for days. Try it hot with ice cream on it.
